This Independence Day weekend, Speed51.com is going all across America to bring you plenty of short track action and we’re turning things up this Saturday and Monday with a double dose of Outlaw Super Late Model action across the Midwest on the Summer Thunder TV Series presented by PFC Brakes.

Monday night, the action shifts east to the 3/10-mile oval of Midvale Speedway in Ohio and the banner of the Main Event Racing Series, for the $5,000-to-win Freedom 100. In 2016 it was Bud Perry taking the win over Nick Grodi and Josh Way. In fact, Bud Perry has a chance to win his third straight Main Event race at Midvale. The last driver not named Bud Perry to win a Main Event race at Midvale was Alex Rosenberry in 2015.

Saturday night, the Outlaw stars converge at New Paris Speedway in Indiana for the 75-lap Jim Blount Memorial. Among the prizes including a check and trophy, a spot in the 16th Summer Sizzler on August 3.
