A group of the best Super Late Model racers from the Midwest will converge at Wisconsin International Speedway on Tuesday night for one of the region’s biggest annual events. The Dixieland 250, sanctioned by the ARCA Midwest Tour, will attract race fans from all over the Midwest region. But if you’re unable to make it to Kaukauna, Wisconsin, you’ll still be able to watch the exciting side-by-side racing action.
In a joint announcement, Speed51.com and ARCA Midwest Tour officials are pleased to announce that Tuesday’s race will be available via a live pay-per-view stream on Speed51 TV.
“As we continue to re-establish this as a premier event in the Midwest, we felt it was important to showcase what our teams are doing in the ARCA Midwest Tour, across the nation. There is a wealth of talent throughout the field at various stages of their careers, if last year was any indication, this year’s race will light a fire under the Short Track faithful.”
Race fans around the world will be able to watch the Dixieland 250 for just $19.99. The one-camera broadcast, which will feature sound from the public address system at the race track, is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. CT. The live stream will showcase opening ceremonies and all 250 laps of the Dixieland 250.
“On a Tuesday night, there’s no better feeling than to get home from work and watch some exciting Short Track Racing,” said Mark Keeler, Speed51.com Operations Manager. “The live broadcast of the Dixieland 250 will put one of the Midwest’s biggest and most exciting Super Late Model events in the spotlight, and allow race fans all over the world the chance to witness an exciting Short Track Racing event.”
The current entry list for the Dixieland 250 serves as a who’s who of Midwest Super Late Model racers. Ty Majeski, the number-one pick in the 2016 Speed51.com Short Track Draft, will be joined by Larry Detjens Memorial winner Derek Kraus, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Johnny Sauter and Midwest star Dalton Zehr.
Other drivers entered include NASCAR K&N Pro Series standout Noah Gragson, former Slinger Nationals winner Dennis Prunty and Wisconsin Super Late Model standout Natalie Decker.
