When Speed51.com reintroduced Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes earlier this year, we promised diversity. We promised that we’d give race fans the chance to watch a variety of race cars at race tracks throughout North America. We’re keeping our promise by adding another new race and new brand of racing to our broadcast schedule this week.
Speed51.com and Cherokee Speedway (SC) are pleased to announce that this Saturday’s Dirt Cup Challenge for DIRTcar UMP Modifieds will be broadcast live on Summer Thunder TV.
Saturday’s $2,000-to-win race is expected to attract many of the nation’s top DIRTcar UMP Modified drivers including David Stremme and “The Highside Tickler” Kyle Strickler, as well as former NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Matt Crafton.
“We’re very excited to add this race to our Summer Thunder TV schedule,” said Speed51.com Associate Editor Rob Blount. “The DIRTcar UMP Modifieds always seem to put on a good show, and we’re thrilled to be able to give Speed51 Network subscribers around the world the opportunity to watch them Saturday night.”
Race fans worldwide will be able to watch the Dirt Cup Challenge live on Speed51.com with one simple subscription to the Speed51 Network. By subscribing for $7.99 a month or $69.99 a year, fans will gain access to Saturday’s race, as well as over 50 other live short track races and thousands of on-demand short track racing videos.
The live broadcast on Speed51.com will be a single-camera video feed with audio from the track’s public address system. Please follow our social media channels for updates on when our live stream from Cherokee Speedway will begin.
