51 TV heads to Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Georgia for SpeedFest 2015, and we want to see the crazy ways in which our fans will be watching.
We know that there will be some fans out there watching while working on a car as they get ready for their upcoming race season, at a tailgate party for another sporting event, or even while in the grandstands at SpeedFest.
Wherever or however you’re watching, we want to see it. The craziest fan of 51 TV will be rewarded with free access to a future 51 TV live event broadcast.
“We saw some pictures of fans watching the Snowball Derby in crazy places, like our friend Rob Fuller who was watching our broadcast on his phone, in the snow, while tailgating before the New England Patriots game in Massachusetts,” said Speed51.com executive editor, Matt Kentfield. “We wanted to think of a way to reward our fans for their dedication and we thought this was the best way to do it.”
Fans are asked to snap photos of the wild, funny or original ways they are tuned in to the 51 TV live broadcast of SpeedFest 2015 and put them on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #51TV. A winner will be announced during the 51 TV’s live broadcast of the SpeedFest feature events on Sunday, January 25.
The prize of the free access to a future 51 TV live event is open only to customers who purchased the $19.99 two-day broadcast ticket of SpeedFest 2015. The two-day broadcast ticket allows fans who can’t make it to the track, or those tuning in for an at-track enhancement to the racing action, and can be purchased here for just $19.99.
51 TV will go live on Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. ET with coverage of the ARCA/CRA Super Series 200 lap main event for the Super Late Models, as well as the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour 125 for the Pro Late Models.
Coverage of qualifying for both the Super Late Models and the Pro Late Models on Saturday will begin at 4 p.m. ET. Coverage of qualifying day is available for $4.99 for those who aren’t able to watch both days of racing action.
For just $19.99 fans can see the defending SpeedFest winner and the 2014 NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Chase Elliott do battle with the 2014 Snowball Derby winner, John Hunter Nemechek, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver David Ragan and many more stars from the Super and Pro Late Model ranks.
A blackout is in effect for those who live within a 100-mile radius of the Watermelon Capital Speedway.
