CRA SpeedFest Qualifying Moved to Saturday Morning

Late Model drivers will need to wait one more day to make their qualifying laps for CRA SpeedFest 2020.  Qualifying for both the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Pro Late Models and ARCA/CRA Super Series Super Late Models will now be held Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. ET.

A rain shower dampened the race track following the conclusion of the afternoon practice session, creating a wet racing surface that track officials were unable to dry completely due to humidity, lack of sunlight and cold temperatures.

As a result, event organizers made the call to postpone the scheduled Late Model qualifying sessions.  Local divisions that were scheduled to compete Friday night will still do so as planned.

Earlier in the day, Jeremy Pate and Corey Heim were fastest in a pair of Super Late Model practice sessions.  Stephen Nasse, who is pulling double duty on Saturday, and Willie Allen paced the two Pro Late Model practices.

Speed51 Network monthly and yearly premium subscribers will still be able to watch qualifying Saturday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET.

Saturday’s feature racing will be available via a pay-per-view broadcast beginning at approximately 1 p.m. ET.
