In the spirit of trying to make things work for multiple rule packages, but still remembering it is a points event for CRA regulars, officials have worked to build a set of rules for the event with compromise between CRA Rules and Area Late Model Rules. Those Open Late Model Sportsman Challenge events will pay $1,200 to win, plus a $500 bonus if the same driver can win both events and two $250 random draw bonuses from the drivers that compete in both events. The second Open Late Model Sportsman Challenge event at Kil-Kare Raceway will be held on Sunday, July 25th.
The Bobby Jack’s Memorial 71 will feature extra payout for all competitors from Platinum Express/Platinum Motorsports, including a $71 cash bonus to every driver competing in the event and $171 cash bonus to the events Fast Qualifier and a $171 cash bonus for a Hardcharger Award to the driver advancing the most positions in the event.
