One of the most fun nights of the year is returning to Salisbury, North Carolina’s Millbridge Speedway, but this time it will be two-times the fun. On Friday, July 27thand Wednesday, August 1st, the kids will be the stars of the show on Cook Out Kids Nights.
On July 27th, the Go-Karts will take center stage. There will be special driver introductions and autograph sessions for the Peewee, Junior 1 and Junior 3 classes. The Peewee feature winner will receive $100.
On Wednesday, August 1st, the Outlaw Karts will be back in action for their turn at Cook Out Kids Night. The Box Stock and Beginner Box Stock divisions will both have autograph sessions and special driver introductions. $200 will be paid to the winner of the Box Stock race and $100 will be paid to the winner of the Beginner Box Stock race.
“Kids Night is one of mine and Jeremy’s favorite nights of the year,” said Millbridge Speedway co-owner, Ashly Burnett. “We view all of the kids that race at our track as our family members, and we love seeing the smiles on their faces on this particular night. It’s a lot of work putting these shows on, but it’s very rewarding too. I’m so thankful for Jeremy and Cook Out for coming on board and helping us out for these two events.”
“Cook Out Restaurants is thrilled to sponsor Kids Night at Millbridge,” said Roxanne Reaves. “It is so exciting to see the great things Ashly and Jeremy are doing to make it fun for the kids while learning to race.”
There will be a variety of special giveaways throughout each night. With the first day of school just around the corner, a school supply giveaway is planned. There will also be a special bike and scooter giveaway. All in attendance have a chance to win.
As always, there will be a “quarter race” with hundreds of quarters spread across the Millbridge Speedway frontstretch. The race will be for kids to pick up as many quarters as possible.
To make the night even more special, there will be unique trophies given to the winners for all kids classes.

About Millbridge Speedway
Millbridge Speedway has been in existence for more than 25 years. The Burnetts took over the speedway in 2011 to transform it into a premier Outlaw Kart track. Over the years the Burnetts have added banking, built new walls, put up new lights, and made numerous changes to the speedway to make it one of the best Outlaw Kart tracks in the country. Millbridge Speedway has been featured on national television multiple times over the past few years, including two televised races over the past two years, with drivers from all over the US and Canada coming to race.
