KANNAPOLIS, NC – Kodie Conner, the 2015 PASS Pro Late Model Champion and native of Kannapolis, North Carolina, is making the jump full-time to compete in a Super Late Model and contend for the PASS South Super Late Model Championship in 2016. Conner has been a mainstay of the PASS Pro Late Model Series for the past three years winning nine races across both North and South Carolina.

Conner’s first career Super Late Model start was at Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) in late 2014 where he ran up front all day before he ended the day with a career-best fourth place finish. Following that successful debut, the team decided to focus on the Pro Late Model last season to be ready for the move up this year.

“I’m really excited to get the opportunity to run the Super for a full season this year and compete for one of the most recognized championships in the country,” said Conner. “PASS has some of the toughest competition week in and week out and I know my experience in the high horsepower car will be tested, but I am looking forward to the challenge.”

Conner has been racing for his small family team his entire career from go-karts to Bandoleros and now in the full-bodied Super Late Model. Although the team is not heavily funded like some, there is a lot of knowledge that Conner can pull from to help both the car and himself.

“I have some of the best people in the industry helping me out both in my driving skills and the setup of the race car,” said Conner. “My dad and I have been together since I started in quarter midgets and we may disagree at times, but we both have the passion to be the best out there. I also cannot thank Jeff Fultz enough for all his help and advice in helping make me successful and getting the opportunity to move up this year.”

Conner is supported by Jerry Conner Insurance, Wheel Chill, Jeff Fultz Racing, CRC, WaspCam, Three-Way Plumbing, Accent Imaging, The Driveshaft Shop, Perfect Fuel Chocolate, Aircom, SeaShepherd.org and Tsamma Juice.

The PASS South season begins the Saturday, February 6 at Greenville-Pickens Speedway in Easley, South Carolina with the Winter Meltdown.
