Hagersville, ON – This Saturday, June 22nd, will mark the debut of Jukasa Motor Speedway’s ‘Prelude to the Nationals’ featuring the APC United Late Models and the Super Stocks. The APC Series has incredible car counts whenever they race and one of the tightest fields you will see. In the Pavilion Friday night at 8 pm you can see Cash for free with a race ticket or $10 at the door. Cash is one of the leading Johnny Cash tribute bands in the country.
‘The Prelude’ will host a 100-lap APC Late Model contest as well as a 35-lap Super Stock race, with each winner being granted a guaranteed starting spot in their respective divisions at the Canadian Short Track Nationals on Labour Day weekend.
The inaugural ‘Nationals’ event – held in September 2018 – saw Andy Kamrath (Super Stock) and Bubba Pollard (Pro Late Model) leave with one of the richest and most prestigious victories of their careers with car counts that wildly exceeded the expectations of industry insiders and fans alike.
“The drivers that win this Saturday will leave here with a provisional for the Nationals – no questions asked,” notes Jukasa’s GM, Alex Nagy. “The fans are going to be in for a treat, the APC Series has put together two incredible races already this season with an average of 30 cars and the series is loaded with talent with the likes of Fitzpatrick, Gresel, Gemmell, Shaw and Pritiko to name a few plus the Super Stocks never seem to disappoint with top teams from tracks all over Ontario. I’m excited for what this show is going to be.”
The event will serve as Round 3 of the APC United Late Model Series season, with 2019 winners Jordan Sims and Matt Pritiko both confirming they will be in the field with hopes of tallying their second victory of the season.
