California Driver Joins Rackley WAR for Nashville PLM Season

CENTERVILLE, TN Rackley W.A.R. co-owner Willie Allen announced today that 28 year old Kyle Neveau of San Clemente, California, has been signed to drive one of the team’s Pro Late Model entries for the upcoming season at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway.

Neveau competed in one Pro Late Model race with the team in 2020 posting a second-place qualifying effort and was running consistently with the leaders until a late race incident eliminated him from competition. He also finished 8th in the All American 400 at Nashville in 2019 while driving his own Super Late Model entry.

The west coast-based Super Late Model veteran and second generation driver was runner-up in the Spears SRL Southwest Tour rookie of the year honors in 2018, top-10 in the series’ points for 2019 and 3rd in points for 2020.

Allen says he is confident that Neveau will have success at Nashville this year.

Kyle and I have worked together for many years now on his west coast program seeing improvement each year. In his only outing with us in 2020, I was impressed with how Kyle was doing until the late race incident. I know that with him being here full time in 2021 we will be competing for wins each race. I think he is an excellent addition to our late model program at Rackley W.A.R.,” he said.

Neveau said he is in the process of making Nashville his new home and is looking forward to making a lot more laps on the historic 5/8-mile.

“It was really great to work with Willie at his home track back in October. That was my first official Pro Late Model race, and everyone was great. I had a lot of fun revisiting Nashville andI’m actually in the process of making it my permanent home. It’s really exciting to be teamed up with Willie and Rackley W.A.R. for a full season at the [Nashville] Fairgrounds this year.

When asked what his goals were for the new race season, Neveau said that being competitive is essential and that winning the championship is his ultimate goal.

“I want to win races and contend for the championship. We are here to be competitive, and I know this team works really hard to be in a position to win every time it goes out.

The Rackley W.A.R. team won the coveted Pro Late Model championship at the Fairgrounds Speedway in 2019 with driver Jackson Boone and Allen was the award recipient in 2015.

Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway will kick off its 2021 race season with Media Day and open practice on Saturday, April 10, followed by opening night and the first 100-lap Pro Late Model feature of the season on April 17.

Neveau will drive the No. 25 Rackley W.A.R. entry sponsored by Axalta, Gordon Frazier, CPA,

Rackley Roofing, W.A.R. Shocks, and Eagle 1 PerformanceEngineering.
