Busy August Summer Thunder TV Schedule Begins This Weekend

During the month of July, short track racing fans were treated to more than 20 live racing broadcasts on Speed51’s Summer Thunder TV.  This weekend brings the start of August, which means another exciting month of short track racing on Summer Thunder TV.

Three short track racing events will be on this weekend’s Summer Thunder TV schedule, promising plenty of action for fans watching with their Speed51 premium monthly or yearly memberships..

For the pavement enthusiasts, the Show Me the Money Pro Late Model Series continues on Saturday.  The Saturday of Speed will feature Alabama 200 winner Jake Garcia, along with fellow title contenders Perry Patino, Christopher Tullis and more at the Alabama half-mile.  The Modifieds of Mayhem will also be part of Saturday’s racing at Montgomery, promising an exciting feature of their own.

On the dirt, Summer Thunder TV offers a pair of broadcasts this weekend.  In the south, the Carolina Clash Super Late Model Series heads to “The Place Your Momma Warned You About,” Cherokee Speedway for the Stick Elliott Memorial.  Three-time series champion Dennis “Rambo” Franklin currently leads the Carolina Clash points as the series will contest its fourth race of the 2020 season.

Further north, the ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Super Late Models head to Richmond Raceway (KY) for the Butch Shay Memorial.  Last year, Zack Dohm was dominant during the Butch Shay Memorial, and the West Virginia racer hopes to defend that crown on Saturday.  The ULTIMATE Mid-Ohio Valley Supers kicked off their season last weekend at Wayne County Speedway (OH), with Doug Drown picking up the win.

All three of these races will be part of Speed51’s Summer Thunder TV programming.  Summer Thunder TV broadcasts are available free for Speed51 monthly and yearly premium subscribers.  That’s not including access to Speed51’s on-demand video library, with highlights, recaps and more from these events and many others.

As we navigate the current situation in our country, Speed51 will add and announce more live broadcasts to the Summer Thunder TV schedule throughout the month of August.
