Salem, IN – The ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered by JEGS will continue its 22nd  season of competition this coming weekend with the $12,000 to win RustyWallaceCars.com 100 as part of the Rusty Wallace Automotive Group Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway Presented by Vore’s Welding. More than 300 race cars split among six classes are expected to be in competition during the three-day event, including racing in Super Late Models, Pro/Crate Late Models, Late Model Stocks, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Compacts.

That Rusty Wallace Automotive Group Short Track U.S. Nationals Super Late Model event will be a co-sanctioned event between the ARCA/CRA Super Series, the Southern Super Series and the CARS Super Late Model Tour. The three premier Super Late Model touring series co-sanctioned last year’s Super Late Model event with the Short Track U.S. Nationals won by Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series rookie competitor Bubba Wallace and the North/South Super Late Model Challenge at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville this past April.

With the Short Track U.S. Nationals format and high car count, the event will be a special point’s event for all three series. For the ARCA/CRA Super Series teams, the event will be an 80 point minimum event, every team that has a car at the event will receive 80 points, which is just like finishing 10th in a normal ARCA/CRA Super Series event. Teams can only receive additional points by qualifying in the top five or finishing in the top ten of the RustyWallaceCars.com 100 on Sunday.

The entry list for the RustyWallaceCars.com 100 is full of talent from all over the country. Entries have been received from former NASCAR competitor and 2017 Redbud 400 winner Steve Wallace, Canadian NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Stuart Freisen, part-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Spencer Davis, 2016 CARS Super Late Model Tour Champion Rapheal Lessard, also Stephen Nasse, Mason Mingus, Tyler Ankrum, Jake Crum, Connor Okrzesik and Trevor Noles.

The ARCA/CRA Super Series is also well represented starting with current series point’s leader Josh Brock, who got his first ever series win on May 5th at Anderson Speedway. Also 2017 series Champion and Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year Logan Runyon, Hunter Jack, Greg Van Alst and former ARCA Racing series multi-time winner Joey Miller. The series also has a talented group of Senneker Performance Rookie of the Year competitors entered for Bristol including current rookie point’s leader Austin Kunert, who got a series best finish of second at Anderson, also Jon Beach, Tristan Van Wieringen and Billy Van Meter.
