BJ’s Big Tent Returns to the Snowball Derby Circus

For the past two years, one of the places to be at Five Flags Speedway during the week of the Snowball Derby has been what has been simply called, "The Big Tent." For 2019, it’s back once again and is set to be a main meeting place and resting place for fans throughout all of the events at the 52nd Annual Snowball Derby.

Things are set to be even bigger at the Big Tent with presenting race sponsor BJ’s Wholesale Club coming on to add even more fun to the Snowball Derby.

The Big Tent will be at the center of attention before cars even hit the track. Wednesday, December 4 will see the first on-site episode of nearly a week’s worth of Speed51’s Bullring short track talk shows. Every day from Wednesday to Saturday, December 7, The Bullring will go live at 5 p.m. CT in the BJ’s Big Tent to bring you latest news from Speed51’s ace crew, as well as driver and celebrity interviews.

Also, on Wednesday, the all-critical PFC Brakes Qualifying Draw for both the Snowball Derby and Snowflake 100 will take place, with drivers finding out where they end up in the order for qualifying later in the week.

The rest of the time, the BJ’s Big Tent will be a place for race fans to go enjoy a break between races, with multiple TV’s showing sporting events from across the nation, such as the SEC Football Championship Game on Saturday. It will also be a place where fans can also watch Speed51’s live broadcast of the Snowball Derby when they are out of the stands during the races, where you won’t miss a minute of the action.
