It starts off Friday night, July 30 with Ultimate’s first trip to the all-new Circle City Raceway located in Indianapolis. The quarter-mile has made a big splash into the dirt scene in its first year of existence, and it continues with a visit by Ultimate HoA.
The series then heads north to Shadyhill Speedway in Medaryville for what will also be their first appearance Saturday night. A return to Circle City is on tap for Sunday night, August 1 to round out the Indiana Swing.
The Renegades of Dirt Modifieds will join the card on all three nights at Circle City and Shadyhill, with local divisions also competing throughout the weekend. The Human Cannonball David “The Bullet” Smith will make an appearance at Shadyhill Saturday night.
There have been three different champions in each of the last three seasons of the ULTIMATE Heart of America series. Zack Dohm is the defending series champion, with Tyler Carpenter taking top honors in 2019 and Austin Burns hoisting the trophy at year’s end in 2018. Dohm started this year’s ULTIMATE Heart of America campaign with a win at Richmond Raceway (KY) in April.
Circie City and Shadyhill will be just the third and fourth Indiana tracks Ultimate HoA will have visited. The series made six stops at Brownstown Speedway between 2016 and 2018, while Boswell Speedway also hosted an event in 2018. Some of Dirt Late Model racing’s best have won in the Hoosier State, including former World of Outlaws Late Model champion Mike Marlar, double Dirt Late Model Dream winner Brandon Overton and reigning Show-Me 100 winner Hudson O’Neal.
Speed51 will be on hand during the Indiana Swing with highlights of the Ultimate Heart of America Super Late Model Series.
