Labor Day Weekend is upon us and with it the end of summer is now near. The good news, there’s still plenty left over the coming weeks on Speed51 Summer Thunder TV presented by PFC Brakes, and this coming weekend is no exception. We’ll be taking you to five different events at five different tracks, all across the map, on both asphalt and dirt, and featuring a wide variety of race cars.
It all starts off with a Friday night doubleheader on both the clay and the hard top. In the Southeast, Princeton Speedway in West Virginia plays host to the FASTRAK Racing Series Dirt Pro Late Models, with the first leg of the FASTRAK East Coast Rumble live on Speed51. Meanwhile up north, the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified Series begins the lucrative final stretch of their 2019 schedule, with the $6,000-to-win Maynard Troyer Classic at Spencer Speedway in Upstate New York.
Saturday we are going north of the border once again on Summer Thunder, as Speed51 cameras go live from Jukasa Motor Speedway in Southern Ontario for the second time in 2019, for the first half of the Canadian Short Track Nationals. Get warmed up for Speed51’s upcoming pay-per-view broadcast of the $75,000-to-win Pro Late Model race with a Summer Thunder special Saturday featuring the 75-lap Outlaw Super Late Model feature, plus the OSCAAR Hot Rod Series; all of which you can watch with your Speed51 premium membership.
Then on Sunday, Summer Thunder is throwing another asphalt-dirt doubleheader at you. First in the afternoon we will be coming to you from the Green Mountains of Vermont, as the American-Canadian Tour Late Models buckle down for 200 laps of green flag racing at Thunder Road International Speedbowl in the annual Labor Day Classic.
For the nighttime, it’s all the way out to Wisconsin as the Dirt Kings Late Model Tour gets set to kick up some dirt at TNT Speedway in the Labor Day Shootout.
