The gloves are off for a panel of Speed51.come experts as the first ever episode of 51 War Room debuts tonight at 5 p.m. ET.  In coordination with the Short Track Draft presented by PFC Brakes, a quartet of 51 staff members embarked upon an unknown location to debate the hottest and most controversial topics surrounding this year’s Short Track Draft.

One of the hottest topics, and maybe the most controversial, surrounds the eligibility of short track drivers for this year’s draft.

This year, the criteria has been changed to include only those drivers who are 25 years of age or younger.  The change comes after an 11-year run of including those 29 or younger in age.

To say that shots are fired in this edition of the 51 War Room would be an understatement.

Veteran motorsports broadcaster and owner Bob Dillner will play the role of moderator for this intense debate as Executive Director Matt “Duke” Kentfield, Editor Brandon Paul, Northeast Editor Rob Blount and Southeast Editor Tim Quievryn debate the criteria for this year’s draft.

The episode, which will debut tonight at 5 p.m. ET on, is the first of many that will accompany this year’s Short Track Draft presented by PFC Brakes.

Stay tuned for much more in the upcoming days.
