CORONA, California – Austin Barnes, the points leader in the Lucas Oil Modified Series presented by LoanMart, has been suspended for one race as a result of actions that occurred Saturday, July 26, at the BILSTEIN Shocks Great Salt Lake 75 at Rocky Mountain Raceways in West Valley City, Utah.

Barnes, of Escondido, California, will not be allowed to compete in the LoanMart Super Fast 75 at the Irwindale (California) Events Center August 16. In addition, the probation Barnes had been placed on following a race at Madera, California, June 28 has been extended through the balance of the Modified Series season.

The race at Irwindale will be the seventh of 10 on the schedule.
