Ross Bailes locked up his second-consecutive Fast Unified Engine Late Model Series (FAST) championship in grand fashion Saturday night by taking the $4,000 season finale for the at Travelers Rest Speedway in South Carolina.

 

According to Speed51.com media partner DirtOnDirt.com, Bailes, of Clover, South Carolina, won by 2.344 seconds over Brett Hamm.

 

Bailes was also the fast qualifier for the 40-lap feature and led from green to checker.  Hamm, Donald Bradsher, David McCoy and Ricky Weeks rounded out the top five finishers of the 15 that took the green flag.

 

It was Bailes’ sixth win of the season.
