ETOWAH, TN – We congratulate Helm Communications client Michael Arnold and Eagle Motorsports of Hattiesburg, MS for clinching their second straight $10,000 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series National Championship.

During the 2016 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series season, Arnold drove The Strength Center Longhorn in 28 races to accumulate 699 points with 17 wins and 23 top five finishes. With two weeks left in the 2016 NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series season, Arnold is one win away from having his second straight “Perfect Season” of earning 700 points.

Along with his success in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series, Arnold also picked up his first career NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Touring victory on July 16 at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS.

“Thank you to each and every person who has contributed anything to helping me this year,” Arnold said. “I didn’t think it was gonna be possible early in the year after getting a late start with a new car then knocking the front clip off the second night out, but none of my help ever gave up! We picked up 17 feature wins and grabbed a golden helmet! Last but not least, I would like to thank the good Lord above for keeping me and my crew safe and allowing us to do what we love!”

This weekend, Arnold and his Eagle Motorsports Racing Team will travel to Jamaica, VA for the $15,000-to-win Fastrak Racing Series World Championship Race at Virginia Motor Speedway.
