Dalton, along with SNR, finished 4th in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Championship in 2014 and are excited to be working side by side, once again in the upcoming year.
Not only will they be running for a JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Championship for 2015, and the non-points Watermelon Capital Race in Georgia, Dalton will join SNR for 3 other CRA Super Series Races including: Berlin 251 at Berlin Raceway in Marne, MI on May 16, the Redbud 300 at Anderson Speedway in Anderson, IN on July 18 and the Winchester 400 at Winchester Speedway in Winchester, IN on October 11.
2014 was a great learning year for Dalton Armstrong of New Castle, IN. Although Dalton has been racing since the age of 5, winning 100’s of races and such championships as USAC Midget Points Championship(2010), USAC/WOMS Midget Points Championship(2010), National Midget Driver Rookie of the Year (2010) and several others, last year was his first year in a full bodied asphalt late model. Under the direction of Scott Neal, Dalton has grown as a late model driver. He finished 4th place at the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Edgewater Woods 100 at Anderson Speedway in July and had an outstanding 2nd place finish at Winchester Speedway in the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour Winchester 75 in October.
“We are really looking forward to the 2015 season,” Scott stated. “Dalton has shown a lot of maturity behind the wheel and each race in a stock car, he’s grown to become more aggressive. With this being just the first year in a stock car, I’m impressed and look for big things in 2015 out of Dalton.” Scott added, “With the crazy 2014 season behind us, we look to go into the 2015 season with strong eyes on Victory Lane! We have worked hard to get our operation at a top-shelf level and expect great things this season.”
“I’m ready to get back in the race car,” Dalton stated. Scott and I had really good chemistry and towards the end of the year, got better as a team. Looking into 2015, if we can keep building off of last year, I think we will be fighting for wins every time we go to the race track.” Dalton added. “I’m ready to get the 2015 season started!”
