ARCARacing.com will host a live video stream of the rescheduled Shore Lunch 200 for the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards at Lucas Oil Raceway on Saturday, October 6. The broadcast will be a multi-camera, network-style show produced by Speed51, and will be free for registered users of the site.
The broadcast will begin at 7 pm ET from the 0.686-mile oval located just outside of Indianapolis. Registered users of ARCARacing.com will only have to log in to access the broadcast, alongside the site’s regular live timing & scoring feature.
“The best way to fully experience the excitement of the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards is, of course, to be at the track live, but we know that rescheduling a race creates planning and travel challenges,” said ARCA president Ron Drager. “We were set and ready to race on September 7 and bring the Shore Lunch 200 live to viewers on MAVTV, but the weather front in Indianapolis that weekend required us to reload and take another run at it October 6. We’re pleased to have ARCARacing.com, Speed51 and MAVTV on board in various capacities and look forward to providing the best access to the on-track activities we can, given the reschedule.”
MAVTV personalities Bob Dillner and Jim Tretow will host the broadcast, and ARCA’s Charles Krall will contribute as well.
“I’ve really enjoyed returning to the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards during the past couple of years with MAVTV,” Dillner said. The series truly is a great proving ground for some of the future superstars of our sport. It also allows others to live out their dreams of big league stock car racing. And while you won’t want to miss being at Lucas Oil Raceway for all the action, we at Speed51 are honored to work with ARCA to help provide this stream to all the fans that are unable to make it.”
The race was originally scheduled for September 7, but persistent rain throughout the weekend forced postponement. The race will be recorded for an enhanced broadcast on MAVTV, featuring on-board cameras and more, on a tape delayed basis. Dates and times for that broadcast are yet to be determined.
