(Mooresville, N.C., November 5, 2014–) Mason Mitchell 2014 ARCA Racing Series champion looks to make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series debut in the Ford EcoBoost 200 at the Homestead-Miami Speedway on Friday, November 14th. Mitchell and his Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) team will field the No. 48 New England Energy Management, Wildlife Foundation of Florida F-150.

“I am excited to make my NASCAR debut during Ford championship weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. We had a lot of success this year on the 1.5 mile tracks on the ARCA circuit and I think a top-ten is a realistic goal heading into this race. I can’t thank everyone from New England Energy Management and the Wildlife Foundation of Florida for stepping up and helping make my dream become a reality” Mitchell stated.

Veteran crew chief Ricky Viers will lead the operation. Viers has seven wins in the NASCAR Nationwide Series with four different drivers including Kevin Harvick.

“I’ve known Ricky Viers for a few years and am excited to have him calling the shots” Mitchell added. “He’s a proven winner in the NASCAR ranks and will bring a lot of experience and knowledge to the team.”

Mitchell captured the 2014 ARCA championship with his first year team MMM. In 20 starts Mitchell earned 1 win, 12 top-five’s, 18 top-ten’s and five pole positions en-route to his first championship.

The Ford EcoBoost 200 will be live on Fox Sports 1 beginning at 7:30 pm ET with the setup show leading into the green flag after 8:00 pm ET. The race will also be broadcasted by the Motor Racing Network on MRN affiliates as well as SiriusXM 90.
