The Vore’s Compact Touring Series made their national television debut last year at the Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway. The series will be featured once again, with their event at Angola Motorsport Speedway to take center stage with a tape-delayed broadcast on Speed51’s Short Track America on MAV TV.
The high banks of Angola have historically put on a good show across the board with multiple grooves of racing and high speeds. Now, the track will be featured on national television for the first time.
With a high count of Vore’s Compacts expected to be in attendance mixed with a strong local contingent of racers, it promises to be an exciting event.
The series last competed at the 3/8-mile in 2018, with Tom Gossar taking the win over brother Trent Gossar after a back-and-forth battle in the final laps.
Shepherd’s Race NIght will take place on Saturday, July 11, with the episode premiere scheduled for Wednesday, September 2 at Short Track America’s new time slot of 8:00 p.m. ET.
The Vore’s Compact Touring Series features some of the top Compact drivers in America competing at some of the most historic tracks in the Midwest at beyond, including WInchester Speedway (IN), Bristol Motor Speedway, Eldora Speedway (OH) and Salem Speedway (IN).
