When the green flag flies for the 10th Annual Easter Bunny 150 for the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models at Hickory Motor Speedway on April 4, an all-star broadcast team will be calling all of the action on 51 TV’s live pay-per-view broadcast.
Speed51.com owner and MAVTV broadcaster Bob Dillner will be leading the call for the prestigious event and will be joined in the booth by the voice of the Pro All Stars Series, Alan Dietz. 51 TV is also excited to announce that NASCAR broadcaster Kristen Beat will be joining the broadcast team as a pit road reporter for the event.
“After having some fun playing in the dirt this past weekend at the North Carolina Modified Nationals, myself and the entire 51 TV crew are pumped up to get back on the asphalt and broadcast the prestigious Easter Bunny 150 this upcoming weekend,” said Dillner. “We’ve assembled what I would consider to be a five-star broadcast team for this event. With Alan’s knowledge and background with the Pro All Stars Series and Kristen’s love for grassroots racing, I think that fans watching at home will be in for a treat.”
After joining the 51 TV broadcast team on pit road and in the booth at Friendship Speedway (NC) this past weekend, Dietz will be back with the 51 TV group this weekend. The longtime short track racing fan, who also serves as the media coordinator for PASS, is excited to have the Easter Bunny 150 broadcasted to a world-wide audience for the first time.
“Over the last 10 year, the Easter Bunny 150 has not only become one of the biggest PASS races of the year, but one of the premier events in all of Super Late Model racing,” Dietz said. “With the addition of the Must See Racing Winged Sprints, this year’s Easter Bunny 150 will be the best yet. Drivers from all across North America will be at Hickory this weekend and we’re so glad everyone will be able to enjoy the race on 51 TV if they can’t be there in person. 51 TV’s coverage is second to none and I can’t wait to be a part of the team once again.”
Beat, who can be found on televisions nation-wide covering NASCAR and other sporting events, is looking forward to the opportunity to return to grassroots racing. What makes it even more special for her is that the Easter Bunny 150 is a race she’s experienced many times in the past as a fan in the grandstands.
“I couldn’t be more excited about joining this broadcast,” said Beat. “Grassroots, short track racing reminds me of home, and it’s a really good feeling. When NASCAR takes the weekend off, I have always made it a point to drive up to Hickory with friends and watch the race as a fan; it’s become an Easter tradition.
“I am really grateful Bob & Angie Dillner are including me on this team. Bob Dillner has an unparalleled knowledge of motorsports and has done so much with Speed51 to propel the foundation of stock car racing. I feel like my enthusiasm and determination to capture the most engaging storylines will add to their already entertaining and accomplished broadcast team. This will actually be my first live streamed broadcast and the challenge of learning a new crop of drivers and series is thrilling. I’m really looking forward to it and thankful to the group over at Speed51 for the shot to gain some seat time.”
As a result of a partnership between 51 TV, the online streaming video network of Speed51.com, and PASS, short track racing fans throughout the country can watch all of the action on 51 TV’s signature broadcast. The broadcast will feature multiple moving and static camera angles and a live at-track broadcast team, as well as a network-style graphics package.
