Carnesville, GA – As part of the new partnership between DealergroupUSA and the FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance, the software company will sponsor all touring events at FASTRAK weekly sanctioned tracks in 2020. Please note this is for FASTRAK weekly sanctioned tracks that host at least 1 touring event during the regular season.
“This is another initiative to help the tracks’ bottom line thanks to our partnership with DealergroupUSA,” said FASTRAK Vice President DJ Irvine, “We hope that this will encourage more tracks to host touring races and give the drivers more purse money to run for throughout the season.”
The FASTRAK Racing Series powered by Chevrolet Performance has launched an aggressive campaign to put more money in the pockets of teams and tracks in 2020. FASTRAK recently announced the lowering of their weekly sanctioning fee to $1 per year.
“The fact is that it is becoming more difficult for tracks to compete for families’ entertainment dollars as the entertainment climate has shifted towards the digital era,” stated Irvine, “Our goal here is to work hand in hand with the tracks to aggressively market these events and put more fans in the grandstands. More fans pave the way for higher purses for the teams and that’s our goal.”
