Each year a group of the best Super Late Model racers from the State of Wisconsin and beyond gather at Wisconsin International Raceway for the Dixieland 250. The Tuesday evening event, sanctioned by the ARCA Midwest Tour, is one of the biggest annual events in the Badger State and one that shouldn’t be missed.

This year’s version of the Dixieland 250, which will take place next Tuesday, August 1, has captured the attention of both current and former NASCAR Stars including Kyle Busch and Mark Martin. Both drivers will be attending this year’s event with Busch piloting a Super Late Models and Martin signing autographs for fans in attendance.

300x250 Dixieland 250 2017.08.01Martin will be available for autographs for general admission ticket holders from 4:30-6:30 p.m. the night of the event. There are also VIP passes available for Kyle Busch available through Wisconsin International Speedway that can be purchased on their website.

While the race is bringing in big names, one of the biggest names in short track racing will be looking for another victory this year in the ARCA Midwest Tour. Ty Majeski, fresh off his NASCAR Xfinity Debut at Iowa Speedway with Roush Fenway Racing, has entered the event looking for his sixth Midwest Tour victory in seven races.

Austin Nason, Dennis Prunty, Travis Sauter and Ricky Baker are also slated to make appearances at the Dixieland 250.

Baker was recently victorious over the dominant Majeski at Grundy County Speedway (IL) in the last ARCA Midwest Tour race, taking the win after a controversial run-in with Majeski that has the potential to carry over into this event.

There will be a fan autograph session in the grandstands at 6 p.m. followed by opening ceremonies at roughly 6:30 p.m. Racing will begin at 7:00 p.m. starting with last chance races and ending the Tuesday evening with the highly anticipated features.

The Dixieland 250 Super Late Model race will be accompanied by the Big 8 Series that will run the “Dixieland Delight 38” prior to the spotlight 250-lap race.

Fans who are unable to make the trip to Kaukauna, Wisconsin to watch the drivers of the Midwest battle it out in one of Wisconsin’s biggest Super Late Model races can watch from home with Speed51.com’s live video stream of the race via a pay-per-view broadcast. The race is available for purchase by clicking here.
