The Show Me The Money Series kicks off this weekend with the Alabama 200 at Montgomery Motor Speedway. The early-season marquee Pro Late Model event once again has a strong entry list with the Southeast’s top drivers.
Perhaps the biggest surprise on the entry list is Stephen Nasse. The Florida driver is set to make his first Alabama 200 start in his first Show Me The Money Series appearance. He has four other starts at Montgomery, all coming in a Super Late Model.
Augie Grill will be back to chase after a record-extending sixth Alabama 200 title to his credit this weekend. He climbs back in the No.112 Pro Late Model looking to replicate what he did in 2019, when he led all but ten laps on his way to the win.
Former Snowball Derby champion Johanna Long will be making her Alabama 200 debut in a car owned by Ronny Kittle. While her experience is limited, she will have former race winner Ronnie Sanders calling the shots for her Saturday night.
Two-time Show Me The Money Series champion John Bolen is searching for his first Pro Late Model win at Montgomery this weekend. Georgia driver Kyle Plott is also looking for his first victory at the half-mile despite having been competitive in nearly every race he has run, along with younger brother Kason Plott.
Jake Finch will make his Alabama 200 debut after finishing eighth in the Show Me The Money finale last November. Mason Keller will once again make the trip from Indiana, while Modifieds of Mayhem standout Jim Wall, Georgia’s Jordan McCallum and Tennessee’s Steven Chunn are also entered.
A full entry list for the Alabama 200 can be seen below.
Jake Garcia enters the Alabama 200 as the defending race winner, earning the bear trophy after passing Perry Patino late. Christopher Tullis is the defending Show Me The Money Series champion after winning two races one year ago.
