Short track racing fans can tune in to Speed51’s Short Track America every Wednesday night on MAVTV, and soon they will be able to see brand-new episodes of the popular television series highlighting marquee short track events around the nation.
Tonight, Short Track America will broadcast the CRA SpeedFest Pro Late Model 125 from Watermelon Capital Speedway at Crisp Motorsports Park. Tune in to watch some of the best Late Model racers in the Southeast, including Casey Roderick, Kyle Plott, Michael House and more battle for the marquee win on the 3/8-mile oval in Cordele, Georgia.
Then, Short Track America will premiere four brand-new episodes over the next four weeks, showcasing some of the best in both asphalt and dirt racing throughout the month of July.
On July 3, Short Track America will get an early start on celebrating America’s birthday with the North-South Super Late Model Challenge at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville (TN). The event features the stars of the ARCA/CRA Super Series, CARS Super Late Model Tour and Southern Super Series for 100 laps of Super Late Model racing around one of racing’s most historic venues.
Next, Short Track America will move to the dirt, presenting the Dirt Cup Challenge Modifieds at Lake View Motor Speedway (SC). The event has plenty of star power, featuring former Coca-Cola 600 winner David Reutimann and NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Justin Haley along with the Modified standouts of the Dirt Cup Challenge.
Short Track America goes to a small track with big-time action paying big money on July 17, showing the Speed51 Open at Millbridge Speedway (NC). With a $5,000 payday, plus the potential for one lucky driver to win the $25,000 Back Row Bonus, the event offers a massive payout for Outlaw Kart racers and draws marquee names such as Kyle Larson, Max McLaughlin, Nick Hoffman, Carson Kvapil and more.
Lastly, the Short Track America July stretch goes to Thunder Valley, airing the Short Track U.S. Nationals at Bristol Motor Speedway (TN). Super Late Models will fly around “The Last Great Colosseum” at speeds over 130 miles per hour, competing for the famed Bristol sword.
