Action-Packed Weekend of Racing Ahead at Star Speedway

Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire is prepared to celebrate its marquee attraction of the 2021 season, the Star Classic Weekend.  With three nights of action planned, there is a little bit of everything on tap to whet the appetite of short track fans.

Racing gets underway on Friday, September 17 with four divisions of racing, headlined by the Granite State Pro Stock Series.  The Pro Stocks will compete in the Vynorius Companies 100, with a strong field of competitors looking to kick off Star Classic Weekend in style.  Star’s local Late Models will also be in action, along with Slingshots and Pure Stocks.


A long-time staple of the Star Classic is the arrival of the ISMA Supermodifieds, which will take the track on Saturday, September 18.  The Bob Webber, Sr. Memorial Classic will consist of 125 laps for the Supermodifieds to close out Saturday’s program.  They will be joined by the 350 Supermodifieds in the Dennis McKennedy Memorial 60, as well as features for NEMA Midgets, NEMA Lites and NELCAR Legends.


Sunday will see a different brand of open-wheel racing, as the thunder of the Modified Racing Series will rumble into Star Speedway on September 19 to close out the weekend.  The Modified Racing Series will contest a 100-lap feature to close out the 56th Star Classic Weekend.  Sunday’s program also includes Six Shooters, the Exit Realty Pro Truck Challenge, Classic Lites and Street Stocks.


Racing will begin at 6 p.m. ET for Friday’s program, while the green flag will wave at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday and 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.  For more information about the Star Classic Weekend, fans can visit
