The 602 Tour has released the following amendment to their 2017 602 Super Limited Series schedule.
East Carolina Motor Speedway, as scheduled, will host the 602 Super Limited Tour and the 6th Annual Mischa Sell Memorial on Saturday August 26th. The 4/10 mile tricky oval in Robersonville, North Carolina, will be visited for the first time by every 602 Super Limited competitor. This unfamiliarity of the track will put the outcome in the hands of the team that can adjust quickly.
Also the same day will be the 6th Annual, and fan favorite, Mischa Sell Memorial Race. This limited race always features a big payout with all of the top tier limited teams making appearances. Last year’s race at Southern National Motorsports Park was won by Mack Little. Making him the fifth unique winner in the race’s history.
A newly added date is October 7th at Ace Speedway. This will be the second points race for the series at 4/10s oval located in Elon, North Carolina and will be in support of the huge Rodney Cook Classic Late Model event. Andrew Durham won the tour’s first visit in 2017, as well as an exhibition race earlier in 2017. The track has placed an additional $200 bounty on Durham’s head if he can be defeated.
On Saturday October 14, the 602 Super Limiteds will conclude their 2017 season at Tri County Motor Speedway in Hudson NC. Rock Harris has won multiple track championships at Tri County and is the current point leader. Robbie Brewer, 2016 Champion and currently second place in points, will look to close the gap in the upcoming races, to set up a one race shootout between the two drivers. Also appearing that night will be the Southeast Super Trucks and Super Stocks.
Remaining 2017 dates:
Aug 26 – East Carolina Motor Speedway – 602 Super Limiteds
Oct 7 – Ace Speedway – in support of the Rodney Cook Classic
