These staples of Americana are celebrated each Independence Day and powered by JEGS will be ramping up the American spirit through “Stars and Stripes Week.”  51 will feature live coverage at 14 events between July 1 and July 6 during “Stars and Stripes Week.”


Whether it’s Super Late Models, ARCA, Modifieds, Legends Cars or Figure-8 racing,’s “Stars and Stripes” week will have something for every short track fan in America and beyond.  51 will utilize all of its popular feeds, from live at-track Trackside Now coverage, Twitter updates on the @speed51dotcom AP Racing Brakes Twitter Feed, photo highlights on the Speed51doctom Instagram, 51 TV video highlight packages and the Five Star Race Car Bodies Facebook Feed, to bring short track events to the masses during “Stars and Stripes Week.”


“Independence Day is a great time to celebrate being American by getting out to enjoy some good ol’ American short track racing,” said Matt Kentfield, Executive Director.  “At some point this weekend, we hope every fan gets out to check out a race.  Those other days, while families are cooking their burgers on the grill or having a catch in the backyard, will scratch that racing itch with our live Trackside Now or Twitter updates of races from coast-to-coast.


“Stars and Stripes Week” on kicks off on Tuesday, July 1 with live Trackside Now presented by Driven Steering Wheels of Round 5 of the Summer Shootout for the Legends Cars and Bandoleros at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  51 will also have Trackside Now coverage of the Miller Lite American Celebration featuring the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Super Late Models at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. will have live Trackside Now coverage of the Southeast Limited Late Models at North Carolina’s Caraway Speedway on Wednesday, July 2.


“Stars and Stripes Week” gets kicked into high gear on Thursday, July 3rd with Trackside Now coverage presented by Gary Yeoman’s Ford of the Clyde Hart Memorial for the Bright House Challenge Series Super Late Models at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway.  51 will also be live with Trackside Now of the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Late Models and Limited Late Models at South Boston Speedway in Virginia.


On Independence Day, July 4, will be live from Caraway Speedway powering the NASCAR Home Tracks Race Central Live coverage of the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour and NASCAR WAAS Late Models in the Rusty Harpe Memorial.  The groundpounding action continues in Connecticut on July 4, as well, with live Trackside Now coverage of the first SK 5K event at Stafford Motor Speedway.  Also on the 4th, 51 will at-track updates of the Winged Outlaw Figure 8 Series event from Anderson Speedway in Indiana on the @speed51dotcom AP Racing Brakes Twitter feed.


51 will be live with Trackside Now on Saturday, July 5 from the KOMA Modified Madness Series event at Hickory Motor Speedway in North Carolina.  51 will also be powering the Midwest Tour Live event from the ARCA Midwest Tour race at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Iowa.  The JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour will be spotlighted with Trackside Now coverage presented by PFC brakes from Angola Motorsport Speedway.  On the @speed51dotcom AP Racing Brakes Twitter Feed, 51 will have live at-track updates of the TUNDRA Super Late Models at Wisconsin’s Norway Speedway and the Mahoning Valley Speedway (PA) Modifieds and Late Models.


“Stars and Stripes” week will also feature the two-day live Trackside Now of the ARCA Racing Series from Indiana’s Winchester Speedway on Saturday, July 5 and Sunday, July 6.
