Modified fans, get ready to fill out your ballots.
Don’t worry, we’re not trying to push you to vote in the upcoming state and federal elections that you’ll see campaign ads for on your TV during the next month. We’re about to have a lot more fun than that.
For the first time in Speed51.com history, voting for the Most Popular Modified Driver Award is open.
Modified drivers from touring series and local tracks around the United States are waiting for your votes in hopes of becoming the inaugural winner of the award.
After eight straight years of success hosting the Most Popular Late Model Driver voting, 2014 begins a new era that will open up a separate ballot for Modified drivers.
“Growing up at tracks throughout the Northeast, I’ve always been a huge fan of the Modifieds,” said motorsports broadcaster and Speed51.com owner Bob Dillner. “After seeing the great response from fans, drivers, and teams across the country with our ARbodies Late Model Most Popular voting over the years, it was a no-brainer to create a separate contest for those who eat, sleep, and breathe Modified racing.”
Prizes for the 2014 Speed51.com Modified Most Popular Driver include a free hero card design from 51 Sports, the parent company of Speed51.com. More prizes are to be announced soon. Companies interested in donating prizes to the winning driver or top finishers in the voting are encouraged to email [email protected] for more information.
