Veteran motorsports broadcaster and Speed51.com owner Bob Dillner will lead a talented group of on-air talent during 51 TV’s free online broadcast of the Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco season finale at Five Flags Speedway on Saturday, September 26.
When the stars of the southeast Super Late Model tour hit the track on Saturday evening, Dillner will be joined in the booth by the always charismatic Matt “Duke” Kentfield to call 150 laps of racing action.
Speed51.com’s “Stat Boy” Elgin Traylor will join the duo as pit reporter to bring fans closer to the action on pit road.
“We’re very excited about the team we have assembled to help bring this great event to short track racing fans all over the world,” said Dillner. “For different reasons, some fans that want to witness the event will be unable to make their way to Pensacola, Florida, so we’re thrilled to have the support of PFC Brakes to bring the race to a worldwide audience. The Southern Super Series Super Late Models always put on a great show and I’m excited to be a part of the team bringing the wheel-to-wheel action to those who can’t make it.”
Kentfield, who has been involved in a number of 51 TV and Speed51.com radio broadcasts in the past, will make a return to the broadcast booth for the live 51 TV broadcast.
“51 has had the pleasure of watching the Southern Super Series grow from its infancy to its place today as one of the premiere short track series in the country, so it’s an honor to bring its great 2015 season to a close on the 51 TV airwaves,” said Kentfield. “I know the racers will benefit from the added exposure of this free broadcast thanks to PFC and we can’t wait to give them the exposure they deserve.”
The free live broadcast will be headlined by the 150-lap Southern Super Series finale. Fans will also be able to watch the 20-lap Bomber feature, 35-lap Pro Truck feature and 25-lap Sportsman feature.
The broadcast, which is presented by PFC Brakes, is scheduled to go live at approximately 7:30 p.m. CT.
51 TV’s signature broadcast style will feature a live, in-house broadcast team, multiple camera angles, a broadcast-style graphics package and more that will bring the fans unable to make it to Pensacola, Florida that much closer to the action.
PFC Brakes, an industry leader in high-performance brake calipers, rotors and pads for a variety of racing disciplines including short track Super Late Model racing, will present the live broadcast to aid the track and teams of the Southern Super Series.
