In just one week the Renegades of Dirt N.C. Modified Nationals goes green at North Carolina’s Friendship Speedway on March 27-28, and race fans can watch all of the action live on 51 TV for just $39.99 for both days of racing.

As the event gets closer, the anticipation continues to heighten.  The $10,000-to-win race promises to be a can’t-miss race, and that is evident by 51 TV’s announce team.

Veteran NASCAR broadcaster and Speed51 owner, Bob Dillner will be in the broadcast booth throughout the weekend, and he will be joined by Wesley Outland, the voice of the Renegades of Dirt, as well as Alan Dietz, the announcer for the PASS Super Late Models.

“When we at Speed51 decided that we wanted to go deeper into the dirt racing world we knew that the $10,000-to-win N.C. Modified Nationals was a race that we had to cover,” said Dillner.  “To be able to bring this race to thousands of race fans who wouldn’t otherwise be able to see it without 51 TV is a great thing.  And to be sharing the broadcast booth with Alan Dietz and Wesley Outland will be a real pleasure.”

Dietz has been the voice of the PASS Super Late Models for many years.  He was one of the most recognizable voices in short track racing, and he’ll be making his second appearance in the 51 TV broadcast booth next weekend.  Dietz was heard on the call of a PASS South race at Caraway Speedway (NC) last November at the North South Shootout.

“I’m really honored to be a part of 51 TV’s coverage at Friendship Speedway,” said Dietz.  “I’ve seen Speed 51 grow from a fledgling website in the early 2000’s to the unparalleled leader in short track racing coverage.  Although people know me from my work in asphalt racing, I spent a lot of time at the dirt tracks of the eastern Carolinas growing up and I can’t wait to get back to my roots and be a part of 51 TV’s first foray into dirt racing.”

The Renegades of Dirt Series is one of the most exciting series for Dirt Modified racing out there, and Outland is the one that calls every race as their lead announcer.  He’ll be making his 51 TV debut next week at Friendship Speedway.

“We at the Renegades of Dirt are really looking forward to this big event at Friendship Motor Speedway,” said Outland.  “Doing the live 51 TV pay-per-view will definitely help to bring this event to a new audience. I have followed and worked with Bob Dillner and the group before.  They always give the fans watching a top-notch production and I’m really looking forward to calling the races with Dillner and Dietz in the booth.  This 51 TV production has turned the North Carolina Modified Nationals into an event race fans will not want to miss, whether watching live or on 51 TV.”

Like its previous broadcasts of pavement races, 51 TV will utilize at least six cameras and a live broadcast call of the action during the North Carolina Modified Nationals event.  This time, the layout of Friendship Speedway will offer unique sightlines for the 51 TV cameras and will make for a thrilling event for all those who are passionate not just about dirt track racing, but for fans of short track racing across all disciplines.
