Short Track Racing fans all around the globe have given their stamp of approval on the new Speed51.com powered by JEGS mobile app. Since its inception on June 22, the new app has recorded more than 100,000 views and become the easiest way for fans to follow Short Track Racing on-the-go.
While the number of views on the mobile app pales in comparison to the number of people who visit the site via a web browser during that same time period, the early support of the mobile app is something that has the entire Speed51.com staff excited.
“Since we started the process of building the Speed51.com mobile app we wanted to ensure that it would be user-friendly and provide the news and information that Short Track Racing fans wanted,” said Speed51.com owner Bob Dillner. “The early reviews and support for the app assure us that we accomplished both of those goals. We’re very pleased with the reviews thus far and will continue to look at ways to improve the app moving forward. Heck, it was nice to receive a tweet from Dale Earnhardt Jr. complementing it by saying ‘Solid App.”
In addition to providing the latest Short Track Racing news, the 51 mobile app is also the easiest way to follow Speed51.com’s popular Trackside Now coverage of race events throughout the United States. The app allows fans to follow lap-by-lap coverage of racing events no matter where they are, whether they’re at the grocery store, on a plane or at another race track.
The app also allows fans to check-in with all of Speed51.com’s social media streams with just one touch on your touch screen. Follow live coverage of events on our AP Racing Brakes Twitter feed, find race results on our Five Star Race Car Bodies Facebook feed and view cool photos on the 51 Instagram feed.
