Beginning this weekend, race fans that eat, sleep and breathe Modified racing will have a new place to go for updates on their beloved ground pounders.  Speed51.com powered by JEGS has unveiled a new Twitter account that will provide race fans with updates from Modified events throughout the country.

pfc-anim1The new @51Modifieds Twitter will debut this weekend during NASCAR Whelen-All American Series action at Bowman Gray Stadium (NC) and the New London-Waterford Speedbowl (CT).

“Modified fans are some of the most passionate race fans in the entire country.  Because of that, they’re also very hungry for information about the ground-pounding Modifieds that they have such a vested interest in,” said Brandon Paul, Editor of Speed51.com.  “The creation of this new Twitter account will give the fan base the latest updates that they’re so hungry for.”

Throughout the process of unveiling the @51Modifieds Twitter account, Speed51.com will continue to provide the normal amount of updates via its normal @speed51dotcom PFC Brakes Twitter account.

“We know this is something that people are really going to enjoy, but it’s also something we understand will need time to grow,” said Paul.  “If you’re following the 51Modifieds Twitter account and you have friends or family members that also enjoy Modified racing, be sure to tell them about it as well.”

Throughout the year, the @51Modifieds Twitter will provide updates for many series and weekly race tracks including Bowman Gray Stadium, NASCAR Whelen All-American Series, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour, Valenti Modified Racing Series, Southern Modified Racing Series, Tri-Track Open Modified Series, Race of Champions Modified Tour, Modified Touring Series and Southern Modified Race Tour.

Don’t miss out on any of the action by logging on to Twitter today and following @51Modifieds.  If you haven’t followed the @speed51dotcom PFC Brakes Twitter feed, we encourage you to do that as well.
