The 2016 race season is not even a full week old yet, but the new race season is already up to full speed.  With major races indoors in the Midwest and Northeast, the start of the pavement racing season in Florida and some big dirt races in the Southeast and West Coast already in the books, 2016 is already shaping up to be a banner year for short track racing across North America.

Likewise, Speed51.com powered by JEGS is already looking forward to a new year full of new and exciting features, exclusive news content, live event coverage and more to promote and expose short track racing to more fans than ever before.

51’s staff has already been hard at work in 2016 covering the Allentown Indoor Race in Pennsylvania last weekend with Trackside Now live coverage, photo galleries and video content.  Plus, 51 was on hand at the Red-Eye 100 at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway where the pavement Super Late Model and NASCAR Whelen All-American Series seasons officially kicked off.  51 also was present at two events dubbed the “Hangover;” a dirt Late Model battle at Tennessee’s 411 Motor Speedway and a wild grassroots division event at Sandusky Speedway in Ohio all on the first weekend of January.

That busy start to the 2016 season only gets more amped up in the coming weeks, as Speed51.com has even more live coverage planned.  51 will have live Trackside Now coverage and Speed51 Network highlights of the New Year’s Bash Street Stock event at Dillon Motor Speedway in South Carolina, where dozens of racers from the Southeast and beyond will battle for a $2,000 payday Saturday.  On the PFC Brakes @Speed51dotcom Twitter Feed, 51 will have at-track updates of the Midwest Indoor Racing Series at Kellogg Arena in Battle Creek Michigan Saturday and the Winter Heat Legend Car and Bandolero events at North Carolina’s Charlotte Motor Speedway Sunday.  51 will also have a display booth to meet and greet racers and fans alike at the Northeast Motorsports Expo in Augusta, Maine all weekend long.

The rest of the month of January is just as exciting on Speed51.com, as well.  51 will have staff on site during the prestigious Chili Bowl in Tulsa, Oklahoma January 12-16 with at-track updates for the second-straight year.  51 will also be on hand for the Sunoco Challenge Series Super Late Model season opener at Auburndale Speedway on January 17, the Orange Blossom 100 at New Smyrna on January 23 and the Atlantic City indoor TQ Midget events January 30.  The month will conclude with one of the crown jewel Super and Pro Late Model events of the season, Speedfest 2016 featuring the ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour on January 30 and 31 and 51 will be on hand with live Trackside Now coverage and more to be announced soon.

January is a perfect time for companies and organizations of all sizes to get involved with Speed51.com.  Advertising specials run through the month, when thousands of eyes will be fixed on the “100% Short Track Racing” news and live coverage source.  For more details on how to get involved in a marketing partnership with Speed51.com, email 51’s Director of Business Jana Wimmer at [email protected].
