Tony Formosa Jr., president of Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville today, officially announced the purse for the upcoming 30th Annual All American 400 Weekend, to be held, October 31st and November 1st at the historic speedway located at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds.


The event for the pro late model 300 lap and/or a 100 lap or two 50 lap last chance race (dependent on car count).  A driver who wins the fast qualifier award, leads every lap of the 300 lap event, takes home the All American 400 winning guitar and $16,800 (including cash and prizes).  The fast qualifier award will be determined at the Friday night race program, the top 28 cars locked into the Saturday 300 lap event.

Lap Leader Bonus

* $3300.00 total amount

$10.00 per lap (lap 1 – 270) – $20.00 per lap (lap 271 – 300) 


The cars that qualify 27th on further back in the field, will compete in the 100 lap or one of the two 50 lap events (dependent on car count) last chance race.  The top six cars will advance if 100 lap format is used, or top three cars from each of the two 50 lap events if that format is used. The purse for the last chance as of this writing is to be determined. Once determined will include lap leader bonus for each lap.  Two drivers to be added to the 300 lap field by the track promoter option, for a a total field of 36 cars.


All American 400 Weekend payout for 300 lap event

1st = $12,500 – 2nd= $5,000 – 3rd= $3,000 – 4th= $2,500 5th – $2,000

6th = 1,750 – 7th – $1,500 – 8th= $1,400 – 9th= $1,300 – 10th= $1,250

(11th thru 36th position= $1,200) 


FRIDAY event, October 31st, the local championship point events for each division to be decided after the All American 400 Weekend qualifying.  Tickets for the Friday event, $8.00 for grandstand general admission, children 5 and under FREE – (Discount available with two day purchase).


SATURDAY event, November 1st, the last chance events and the 300 lap All American pro late model for the coveted Music City USA guitar, the most sought after trophy in all of stock car racing. Tickets for Saturday, $20.00 for adult, $18.00 for senior and military, children 5 and under FREE

Friday – $35.00 admission

Saturday – $45.00 admission



A special practice to be held for pro late model cars only, Thursday, October 30th from 3pm – 7pm – $15.00 pit admission
