Whether it’s a touring series or a weekly show, in the Southeast or on the west coast, there’s plenty of racing action for everyone to enjoy this weekend.  We decided to narrow it down to give you “10 to Attend.”

 

  1. Show Me the Money – Montgomery Motor Speedway

150 laps of action around the challenging Montgomery Motor Speedway in the capital of Alabama is on tap for Saturday night.  Better yet, the race pays $4,000-to-win, so you know the drivers are going to do everything they can in this one.

 

  1. NASCAR K&N Pro Series East – Mobile International Speedway

graphic mobile app 2016-1Just a couple of hours south of Montgomery the cars and stars of NASCAR’s premier development series, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, will take on the fast, high-banked half-mile of Mobile International Speedway on Saturday night.  After a wild and controversial finish to the season-opener, fans can expect the unexpected out of the second race of the season.

 

 

 

  1. NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour – Caraway Speedway

The ground-pounders get back in action on Saturday night at Sophia, North Carolina’s Caraway Speedway where the NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour will kick off its season.  The .455-mile oval always provides good racing, so be sure to not miss this one.

 

  1. Late Model Stocks – South Boston Speedway

South Boston Speedway has been racing since 1957 and the track is about to embark on another season this Saturday afternoon with twin 100-lap Late Model Stock features.  “SoBo” will debut its new “passing points” system which should make an already exciting race track even more exciting.  Be sure to head on out on Saturday night to grab a ticket, a bologna burger and watch some great racing.

 

  1. World of Outlaws Sprint Cars – Thunderbowl Raceway

“The Greatest Show on Dirt” is headed to Thunderbowl Raceway in California for a double-header on Friday and Saturday night.  The World of Outlaws continue their western swing with races No. 9 and 10 this weekend, giving fans two chances to see their favorite Outlaws in person.

 

  1. Short Track Super Series – Georgetown Speedway

The Big Block Dirt Modifieds of the Short Track Super Series are headed south to Delaware’s Georgetown Speedway on Saturday night for 49 laps of dirt-slinging action on the fast half-mile oval just south of the First State’s capital.

 

  1. Modifieds of Mayhem – Montgomery Motor Speedway

Sharing the bill with the Pro Late Models at Montgomery on Saturday is the season-opener for the Modifieds of Mayhem Tour.  The tour provided thrilling action at every single event last season, so the season opener is definitely a can’t-miss race.

 

  1. Sunoco Challenge Series – Auburndale Speedway

Super Late Models will roar around Florida’s Auburndale Speedway for 100 laps on Saturday night in the third race for the new Sunoco Challenge Series.

 

  1. Late Model Stock Cars – Hickory Motor Speedway

Ryan Millington pulled off the upset in the season-opener last weekend at North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway..  Can he go two-for-two and win again this weekend? Another 100 laps for the Late Model Stocks is on-tap on Saturday night.

 

  1. Limited Late Models – Greenville Pickens Speedway

South Carolina’s legendary Greenville Pickens Speedway is back in action for the second straight week this Saturday night.  The Limited Late Models headline the racing card this week as they’ll race for 75 laps in one of their biggest shows of the year.
