As the summer starts to draw to a close, the races are just getting bigger and bigger. With plenty of huge events all over the country it’s become increasingly harder to narrow down a list to just 10 events, but we’ve managed to do so in this week’s 10 to Attend.

 

ASCS 360 Nationals at Knoxville Raceway (IA) – One of the biggest races in dirt Sprint Car racing takes over the dirt world this week and kicks off Thursday at the famous Knoxville Raceway. Names are made at this race as young drivers try and prove themselves and the veterans race to remind them why they are on top.

 

300x250 Kalamazoo Klash PPVCARS Tour at Hickory Motor Speedway (NC) – Possibly the most anticipated race on the CARS Tour schedule hits the historic short track of Hickory Motor Speedway for the Throwback 276. Drivers are sporting throwback paint schemes of drivers like Alan Kulwicki, Davey Allison, Dale Earnhardt, and Dick Trickle.

 

Modified $12,ooo Fan’s Challenge at Bowman Gray (NC) – A mega paycheck of $12,000 is on the line for any brave modified driver willing to take the Fan’s Challenge at the ‘Madhouse.’ If one of the top four Modified qualifiers choses to start at the rear of the field and manages to make it back to the top four, they get to cash in on the $12K payout.

 

PASS North at Lee USA Speedway (NH) – The PASS North Super Late Model series makes its first and only stop of the year at Lee USA Speedway this Friday night.

 

Northeast Modified Doubleheader – RoC Asphalt Modified Tour at Chemung Speedrome (NY) & NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Stafford Motor Speedway (CT) –  The RoC Modifieds are taking on Chemung Speedrome on Saturday. Patrick Emerling has created a points gap between himself and second place Mike Leaty in the Championship points but Leaty is looking to close that gap at the New York based short-track. In Connecticut, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour begins a busy stretch at Stafford with recent NASCAR XFINITY Series winner Ryan Preece in the field.

 

ARCA Racing Series at Winchester Speedway (IN) – Known for its high-banks and high-speeds, the legendary Winchester Speedway will host the ARCA Racing Series on Sunday.

 

Short Track Super Series at Bethel Motor Speedway (NY) – The Dirt Modifieds of the Short Track Super Series are taking to the pavement at the Bethel Motor Speedway for the Summer of 69 event.

 

JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour at Auto City Speedway (MI) – Saturday night the JEGS/CRA All-Stars Tour takes on Auto City Speedway for the seventh race of the season. 100 laps of racing action are on the schedule as the points battle is heating up between rookie Carson Hocevar, who is leading the points, over Jack Dossey III.

 

TUNDRA Super Late Models at State Park Speedway (WI) – One of the toughest Super Late Model tours in the Midwest heads to State Park Speedway for some Saturday night racing action.

 

Super Cup Stock Car Series at Lonesome Pine Raceway (VA) –  The Super Cup Stock Cars Series is making a trip down I-81 to Tennessee to take on Lonesome Pine Raceway on Saturday night.
