The Southern Super Series had one exciting season in 2017 with a championship battle that came down to the wire between Stephen Nasse and Chandler Smith. With so much excitement, it was hard to narrow down their videos to just 10, but we did it for you, the fans.

#1 – Highlights: Season Finale at Five Flags Speedway (FL)

The final race of the season had multiple races within the race. First, a series champion was decided, plus a track championship was decided, and we had the race for the win as well.

Any race at Five Flags Speedway is a fun one. This race from early in the season was especially fun and that’s why it comes in at number two on this list.


#3 – Highlights: 41st Annual Rattler 250 at South Alabama Speedway (AL)

The Rattler at South Alabama Speedway is always a wild race. It’s the season opener and it always draws a good car count and good competitors. Plus, the winner poses for a picture with a rattlesnake.


#5 – Highlights: July 28th at Five Flags Speedway (FL)

The Southern Super Series made its third trip to the home of the Snowball Derby at the end of July. The hot and slick track conditions made for a thrilling race to watch.


#6 – Recap: 41st Annual Rattler 250 Practice Day

Go back and in time and relive the nerves and stresses that teams were dealing with the day before they opened their season at the Rattler 250.


#7 – Highlights: June 2nd at Five Flags Speedway (FL)

Bubba Pollard had made Five Flags Speedway his personal playground throughout the 2017 SSS season, but on this night a new challenger would rise up and take over victory lane.


#8 – Highlights – April 29th at Mobile International Speedway (AL)

The second night of a back-to-back is always tough, but that’s part of what makes this race at Mobile International Speedway so much fun. Jeff Choquette took the win on this night.


#9 – Highlights – June 10th at Anderson Motor Speedway (SC)

The Southern Super Series met up with the CARS Tour for a battle at South Carolina’s Anderson Motor Speedway in June.


#10 – Highlights: Lee Fields Classic at Mobile International Speedway (AL)

The Lee Fields Classic was the longest race of the year for Mobile International Speedway at 150 challenging laps around the high-banked half-mile oval. The 2017 edition of the event certainly lived up to its name as a classic.
