The 300-lap Snowball Derby was full of side-by-side racing. Speed51.com’s highlight camera caught it all and delivered you the most important moments of the race in this highlight reel.
After the 50-lap last chance race, four drivers were able to breathe a sigh of relief while the rest of the field saw their Snowball Derby hopes eliminated. We caught up with a handful of drivers from each side of the spectrum.

Before Super Late Models took over the spotlight on Sunday, it was the Pro Late Models taking center stage Saturday night for the Allen Turner Snowflake 100. Highlights from the 100-lap race can be viewed by clicking the link above.
We also decided to ride along with defending Snowball Derby winner Christian Eckes as he attempted to defend his victory from one year ago. The 2016 race winner ended up having an up and down day that included being involved in an incident that derailed his hopes of going back to back.
Although Late Models never hit the track, Wednesday is always an important day at the Snowball Derby. Over 100 haulers parked in the infield at Five Flags Speedway before going through the all-important technical inspection process.
Late Models hit the race track for the first time on Thursday morning. The Speed51 Network recapped who was fast and who wasn’t in our daily video recap.
We had our on-board cameras strapped onto a number of cars during Snowball Derby qualifying night. We took the footage we obtained and created a compilation of on-board videos.
