With a new name for 2018, but with the atmosphere expected to be the same, Five Flags Speedway and the Southern All Star Racing Series are coming together once again to host the Gulf Coast Racers Expo Auction & Trade Show this coming January at the Pensacola (FL) Fairgrounds.

Race teams and vendors from all over the Southeast will have the opportunity to auction off, sell, and buy all sorts of goods for two days on Friday, January 12 and Saturday, January 13. Originally revived as the Southern Racers Auction and Trade Show in 2017, the event proved to be a big hit, and is ready to return in 2018.

300x250 51 Network 2017(2)“Both of these long standing racing organization revived the Southern Racers Auction & Trade Show last year in Pensacola and had a surprisingly good turnout for something new, so this year decided that it needed name change for better identity so the racing fans and drivers and people who go to the auctions had a better idea of where it was going to be and the Gulf Coast name seemed the logical choice,” said Lynn Acklin, General Manager for Southern All Stars. “We started off with what works when we went with the Southern Racers Auction & Trade Show last year, but too many people were confused and did not know where it was and many thought it was back in Birmingham, but it was not, so that is why the name change to Gulf Coast Racers Expo Auction & Trade Show”.

The auction portion of the Expo will run on Friday at 7 p.m. CT with the doors opening at 5 p.m., and once again on Saturday at 10 a.m. CT with the doors opening at 8 a.m.

Auction check-in time as well as setup time for vendors will be on Thursday, January 10 from 12 p.m. -7 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Trade show booth spaces are available with 10×10 spaces starting at $100, 10×20 booths at $200, 10×30 booths at $300 and 10×40 booths at $400.
