Speed51.com, the leader in Short Track Racing News is calling on its readers to vote for our year-end awards, nicknamed the “51s.” By voting, you are casting your vote for who you recognize as the best (and sometimes worst) in the short track world for the 2009 season.

A beautiful sunset over one of America's most famed short tracks. Matt Dillner took this shot on a typical Saturday night at Bowman Gray Stadium (NC).
The final turn of the Modified tour race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway had Jim Dupont clicking the trigger as both leaders were in the catch fence.
Matt Dillner went to Birmingham long after all the walls and grandstands had been tour down. The site looks more like an landfill then a historic racing track that stood for 95 plus years.
For Steve Park, winning at Adirondack Speedway was the highlight of 2009. Ken Spring captured this moment as Park saluted the crowd.
